May Update

There's a lot of things to talk about so please excuse me if this post gets a bit sloppy and rambling, blame the cough syrup. 

First let's talk about something that apparently happened last night over at Steam when several publishers got warned about pornographic content in their games. Several gaming news site and reddit subbreddits have already reported on it. From my point of view, there's been a bit of an overreaction since those games aren't being removed or banned. Was it an automated robot e-mail, the work of one employee, or a change in Steam's stance from higher ups? Frankly, I don't know what is going on, anyone who isn't a Steam staff probably don't know, and no one will know until Steam starts replying back which probably won't be until Monday or Tuesday. Regardless, how Steam replies back to the initial reactions and questions after the weekend will have very big implications going forward for everyone involved, including me. 

Second, personal stuff surrounding me. So the kitchen renovations finished Wednesday, as did the city's water pipe project or whatever they were doing on our block. Our contractors are taking a break or working on another project or whatever, and next week they will come back to our house to renovate our outdoor garage because the wooden beams in its roof are almost broken. In meantime my health has taken a serious decline recently. 

There's been an extreme uptick in flies and pests in my house since the kitchen renovation started three weeks ago. At first I thought it was because it's spring, and the contractors were doing work with the door/windows open so the flies were just coming in from the outside; But apparently it was because the sewer drain pipe in the basement were almost flooded to floor level so the flies were coming from the drains. They were literally those flies you see in cartoon that fly around stinky poop and shit. Along with it being pollen season which I'm allergic to (who isn't nowdays), the dust coming from construction work inside and outside, bad air circulation all around, poop air and poop flies from the basement, and lack of a kitchen to make home made food and having to resort to takeout food, my body hasn't taken these past few weeks very well.

I've had this skin condition called eczema since I was a little kid. I also had a shellfish and pollen allergy as a kid. But then recently two years ago, I started developing a ton of new food allergies, the most severe being soy, and anyone who is allergic to soy can tell you how frustrating it is to eat outside when seemingly everything has soy in it. My soy and shellfish allergy is also preventing me from ever going to Japan as long as I have them. The joints on my fingers look like a dozen bees have stinged it in the past few weeks because I had to consume all these fucking takeout, I'm literally sick of it. 

After the garage renovations are done and my body heals up a bit, I'm thinking of trying out this treatment called NAET, which is an eastern medicine approach to curing allergies as opposed to the western approach which is avoid eating food your allergic to, which is simple to say if you're allergic to one or two things, not like almost everything. I want to go to Japan. My dream is to bring eroges from Japan, to the western world so that everyone else can experience the joy of a good eroge, and makers of good eroge get paid and rewarded for their efforts and so that they can focus on producing good eroges instead of being nine-to-seven o'clock salaryman or whatever. 

That's why I am taking Japanese classes right now, so I can communicate in Japanese better to developers. This whole Steam thing that is happening, yeah that kinda sucks, maybe the time to bring eroge over is too early, or maybe it will never happen under Steam's current monopolistic control of the PC market, or under an America that is currently so divided politically and angry. Today there is yet another school shooting in America. More than ever I think people just need to chill the fuck out, and eroge could be one of those things to mellow people out, just like it did for me. To accomplish my dreams fully, I need to start seriously evacuating the long term health of my body and take steps to improve it. 

With the Steam situation being unknown, my health, and also the fact that Sachinama is busy in his personal life for the rest of the month, I'm going to halt work on Akemi in an RPG (temp title) for the rest of May. It kinda sucks, when I originally wanted to only take a break for a week after the Meltys Quest update and now it is going to end up taking at least a month, when I had already kind of taken months of break in between the release of Meltys Quest and its update. I had planned out a schedule of stuff I wanted to do, and then tease it out for the month. But I barely managed to accomplish anything so far. The big gist was that Akemi in an RPG (temp title) was going to get pretty much a complete make over. It would be ported to RPG Maker MV with different maps, completely different game systems and mechanics, new additional scenes and characters, and a lot of fun stuff. But the future of the project is looking uncertain right now, so Sachinama and I will evacuate what to do after he gets back and after the fallout of whatever is going on over at Steam. 

In final closing words for today, apparently you shouldn't jerk off without lubrication because it is for the bad skin because of the friction. I guess I've been doing it wrong for decades now and I'm starting to pay the price. As if everything wasn't terrible enough I'm stuck with masturbation abstinence for a while until my dick heals. Take care of your body fellas, even the private parts. But, I ordered some lube and healing cream (Man1 Man Oil) and they should get here next week BEFORE the release of Mille-feuille's Shine Mirage which I've been looking forward to since last year. I am fucking H Y P E D for Shine Mirage.
