2023-11-07 19:59:44 +0000 UTCIn Sweden about the only place you can still use cash is at large grocery stores, department stores or chain clothing stores and a few vendors at the weekend farmers market. Most restaurants, bars, independent stores, hotels, etc are cash free. A friend was just visiting from California and took out a bunch of cash when he arrived and couldn’t spend it anywhere. It’s all credit/Debit cards or mobile payment apps
