I agree, but I actually wanted a Rider route. Maybe even a Taiga route but I understand they ran out of time and had to cut a lot of stuff out. You could argue Shirou and Taiga would be weird but Taiga and Saber have the same mental age (25) and at least Taiga has an adult body (Saber's is 15). They met when Shirou was 8 and Taiga was 15, so that may make some people uncomfortable but it would be much better than an Illya route and that was only cut due to time constraints. So if Type Moon got the time to develop the game as much as they wanted I would rather they put in a Rider or Taiga route than an Illya or Caster one.
