A moth is attracted to the light (moonlight, artificial light, fire). When it spots the light, it knows the direction it must go. It travels toward that light, obsessively; addicted. As it continues to travel in the light, it begins to become disoriented. Reaching the light, it excitedly and dizzily flies around it in disoriented bliss. But a moth must be careful, if he gets too close to the flame in his disoriented stupor, he might get burned.
The moth eventually becomes so exhausted, he just goes still, resting in bliss.
