Having seen the show several times now, the ending of this episode still gets me every time. It simply breakes my heart to hear Powder begging and crying and screaming, helpless kneeling in the dirt infront of the fire and Vanders corpse - and a completely crushed Violet in the dark alley, trying to somehow get a grip on herself. 😭💔 The first time I was just devastated. It's so sad, I get why everybody did what they did and can't be really mad at anyone here. I agree with your thoughts about the motivations of each single character. Did you notice how Powder unarmed Silco? Literally because he lost his knife when she jumped at him and figuratively by clutching at him. He can relate very much to her in that moment, because he knows too well how it feels to be betrayed and abandoned. Thoughts on the exyplosion: It absolutely makes sense to me that the guys outside the door survived and two of them inside got killed. Look at the directions the blue crystals flew in. One exploding crystal went back to Powder and threw her off the window sill. One went through the door and hit the ceiling in the small closed room and exploded there. The shockwave catapulted rubble and all their equipment around the room and made the ceiling come tumbling down, what killed Mylo and Clagger. The third exploding crystal went in Silcos direction. There it shred the arm of the angry lady who protected Silco. The two guys on the bridge survived, because they lay unconsious at the bridge several meters away and the shock wave just went over them. The room is large and the shock wave didn't have that same devastating effect like in a closed off small room. Had they been standing, they would probably have been thrown off like Powder or gotten injured like the angry lady. Deckard is the only one who would have died on this side of the door, only he was protected by shimmer, which gave him enough strength to withstand an explosion at his feet. And he had no low ceiling hanging over his head, that could have fallen down on him. It just threw him around a bit. I have my doubts though if he would still have survived when the shimmer effect had worn off.
