You are correct, Bondrewd was blessed because someone who loved him (Prushka) was able to absorb the curse for him. I will say Bondrewd is one of my favorite villains, because the things he does are so insanely horrible and he is such a bad guy....but he still manages to be a "rational" person and not come across as cartoonishly evil. And for as evil as he is he does have some kind of moral code seeing as how he doesn't exempt himself from his own experiments, he even went as far as to kill his original body to create a white whistle. Very interesting villain. Can't wait to see your take on season 2, it's a little different than season 1 in how its paced and structured but it's just as dark and imo even better story-wise. There is a ton of lore / theory crafting that'll be going on lol
