It is by the famous Takahashi Meijin who was known during the Famicom years in Japan for the fastest trigger finger! ! He was even on TV for this skill and worked for Hudson Soft to sell their games and do promotion for their STG challenges!
Star Gagnant uses some of this idea because if you tap the button little faster you get strong shot.. and if you tap really fast you get super strong shot. And the game is all about getting the score by destroying the waves and quick kill the bosses. It's fun!

Well that is anime of Takahashi Meijin but yes this do look like the Gundam captain…. Maybe that is the joke!! 👏🏻

2025-01-06 18:38:27 +0000 UTCI haven't seen this game before. But what caught my eye was the uniform design of the character on the cover (Master Takahashi). It looks very similar to what the captians wear in Gundam SEED. (If you google "gundam seed captain" you can see it..) They don't seem to have the same artist. So now I wonder if that red/white/black/yellow uniform is based on a uniform that exists in real life, or something else. I don't think its a coincidence that they look so similar.

I had a copy of it on the Xbox 360 arcade, but I never ended up buying the copy before it got taken off. So I only played the demo. In July of this year, I found an arcade place for my birthday. I beat the game in one day. I think I probably used six dollars or so in quarters. I lost count, but I know that it was more than 2 or 3 dollars. I felt very proud of myself because I’ve never really beaten the game before that.

2024-12-30 20:46:08 +0000 UTCI enjoy watching these just to see all the different cool mechanics. They make four games like this. I SUCK at shooters. No matter what type it is so I know that I wouldn’t have much fun playing it. The music is also really fun. You seem to do super well with this!
