This is an interesting game. And we will understand more why in the next parts. For now here is a focus on the original Jerry Boy game for Super Famicom. Jerry Boy is a incorrect spelling of Jelly Boy which is very common mistake with L and R exchange in Japan. In the game you control a jelly like the blue Dragon Quest jelly! 😅

And he is cute and can squeeze himself around places on the screen. It is a action platform adventure that is quite clever. This not surprising because it is by Game Freak, the guys who would make Pokemon. Around this time in 1991 they had made the puzzle action game Quinty for Famicom in 1989. And the Game Freak artist Ken Sugimori ( who also design Pokemon) also design all the art and also a manga! You can see the manga and Ken Sugimori in the pics. 🤗
