New Venus
Added 2019-04-13 02:00:25 +0000 UTCVenus, Greco-Roman goddess of love, is almost instantly recognizable as a symbol of femininity and sensuality, two concepts that I've recently begun to personally embrace. And even she, with all her godlike presence, had her moments of timidness. When she felt shy about her nude body, she would hide among the myrtle trees, leading them to be revered in Greek culture. And now, reinvented as a vixen, she stands proudly in front of them. ?
I've always had a deep love for Greco-Roman sculpture and wanted to explore its aesthetic quality for clothing designs, and with my tendency to riff on classic pieces of art, why not the instantly recognizable Venus de Milo?
