The Promised Neverland Episode 1 (Eugene Drip Request)

"Is this going to be a slice of life?" no lol When I first watched this series with my friends we kept calling it AOT if they never aged up. The first episode's twist is executed so well and the whole story within the first season is fantastic. And this series also has one of my favorite, and probably one of the most iconic, pieces of music in anime, the lullaby the Mom hums. The full version begins playing when they meet with Ray back in the house and I absolutely recommend listening to it, "Isabella's Lullaby" is the title. You probably heard about the series before when the second season was airing around the time AOT season 4 part 1 ended. Going into the second season, it was announced that the writer of the manga was working with the production studio, Cloverworks, to alter the story. This gave a lot of manga readers hope that the anime would fix a lot of the problems with the story that started after the events of season 1 in the manga. But then the second season started and characters started to go missing and whole events were skipped and by the end of the 11 or 12 episodes, they had skipped 3 or 4 story arcs and gone right to the ending. They then played a slideshow in the final episode of some of the major events that had been skipped over to get to the end. The reception was an absolute dumpster fire and almost all fans were very disappointed with how bad the second season went. Now there's an outcry from the fans to redo the whole series, much like Fullmetal Alchemist with FMA:Brotherhood. But that being said, the first season is still amazing and I think I'll probably stick with it for the next year as it's only 12 episodes and there are lots of fun twists and turns to come. Also, I see that controller off to the side of the keyboard.... What are you at now, 150 hours in Elden Ring? lmao
