amazing was!

This list reminds me: PACIFIC HEIGHTS is an excellent thriller. It started off a fad for "seemingly nice person gets close to the family and turns out to terrorize them" stories.

GALAXY QUEST is great.

Hi Sam. oh very good insight here, and thank you for the recommendations. i think those are very good line-up movies. some good mix as well

Hey Marian & Joy! Since I'm not an avid suspense/thriller/horror/terror movie watcher, you may want to take these recommendations with a grain of salt. But, here's a list of movies that are considered classic movies for piercing your nerves and boiling your blood: These aren't requests... these are just options for you and the voting member community to decide/comment on... Vertigo (1958) -- highly popular classic Alfred Hitchcock romantic thriller-chiller The Birds (1963) -- highly popular classic Alfred Hitchcock again Cape Fear (1962) -- classic thriller with Gregory Peck The Andromada Strain (1971) -- sci-fi pandemic thriller film Soylent Green (1973) -- post-apocalyptic dystopia horror film The Amityville Horror (1979) -- supernatural/paranormal terror and haunting of a family in a "picturesque", large house Body Heat (1981) -- lustful thriller film A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) and the Nightmare on Elm Street Movies -- blockbuster classic horror film franchise from the 1984 original, through the Friday the 13th franchise Jason crossover film, to the 2010 remake of the 1984 original Fatal Attraction (1987) -- very popular psychological thriller starring Mike Douglass Basic Instinct (1992) -- very popular lustful thriller that was Sharron Stone's breakout film The Hand That Rocks the Cradle (1992) -- psychological thriller of a nanny's possessive designs to dominate and control the family she works for The Jackal (1997) -- thriller about trying to kill an assassin played by Bruce Willis And... some movies I like that aren't thrillers, but have good thriller/terror parts to them: Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan (1982) -- the best of all the Star Trek movies, in part for the terror, suspense, and thrills the Khan character incites in the movie (you do not need to see the Star Trek I movie before seeing Star Trek II) Dead Poet's Society (1989)-- one of Robin William's best movies that manages to turn abruptly from a "feel good film" into a terror-tragedy through one, true-to-life, horrible scene that chills me personally even 20 years after I first saw it 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) -- contains scenes of how a computer can coolly calculate and execute something horrific If nothing else, I bet pretty much every movie on this list will get lots and lots of new viewers discovering MJoy4Fun if you post YouTube reactions for them.
