Access Control Goes Live

We've just implemented changes to allow you to customise how your downloaders can access your files.

You're now able to restrict the amount of downloads a new pledge can make (e.g. a trial & gaining trust period), restrict on country or VPN status, and other important identifiers. As preparation, we have also included support for the upcoming automated crowd-sourced list of content-sharing users generated by the analysis tool.

We'll also be implementing shortly a way for you to monitor your users download activity. This will give you aggregated information about your users country-of-access, their VPN usage, and related downloads, and 'Known Leaker' status.

In general, the site has been operating well with only minor issues relating to email delivery which appears to be fully resolved, and a handful of small bugs that were squashed upon occurance. We've had no issues with workload so far, despite having frequent surges in traffic.

Release!

There is no such thing as perfect. There is only 'good enough'.


Which is why I have chosen now as the time to release it.
I feel it is 'good enough' to use.
There may still be errors in places, and it might be slow at times, but it does work.

Development of the website will be ongoing, and if you do find any problems or errors, please do take the time to let me know about them. I'd also like to know what improvements you would like to see.

Nearing Completion

The site is almost ready, there's a lot of polishing, testing and bugfixing to go, and it's not yet ready for public use. It is feature complete, but there's still quite a lot of improvements and optimisations I need to make.

Feel free to take a look at the site, test it out and see what you think. If there's anything you feel would make it better then I'd like to hear about it, though I already know the design of the site is ugly. I'm not much of a designer and I'm on a limited budget.

Getting Started

I have begun creating the FileID system.
I'm starting from scratch, with a hole in my knowledge, it's going to take time for something usable to appear.
