Over the top, crazy blood-and-guts action and yes you're right, that is an M60 machine gun, although the version Rambo uses wasn't used in Vietnam (didn't have a forward pistol grip). I also like how they stuck an RPG round into the barrel for the movie poster because, well, why not.
