2023-06-30 09:02:35 +0000 UTCI could be wrong but I think this is your first John Hughes movie. John Hughes was prominent during the 80's and early 90's. Some more movies of his that I recommend are UNCLE BUCK (also with John Candy) and FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF. This second movie also has a very funny Edie McClurg (the rent-a-car lady).
