oh yessss

oh nice list Sam thx a lot! wish we can cover those comedy movies ^_^ and i really appreciate it when an actor makes fun of himself.. or allow himself/herself to be ''humiliated'' for the sake of comedy.. well humiliated is a common word these days.. back then everyone knew how to take a good joke

hahahaha yeaaa

I believe interdepartmental communication between different branches of law enforcement is probably the most lingering side effect since then, other than clinical depression. 😆 Love you two. I look forward to your videos.

i agree 100% i mean watching falsely accused of rape stuff on youtube makes your hair grow! but if they are found guilty for accusing guess what? NOTHING HAPPENS TO THEM!

i see.. oh well the 9/11 ... i will never forget that day.. 2001 i think? i was just 11 years old and the news took over every channel in Romania.. i was mad bcuz i used to watch Pokemon in the morning.. but when i discovered what was the real reason.. i was shocked! and i bet a lot of laws changes after that

hahaha ohh yeaa. good point

Grits are the best.

The one bit of acting that is often overlooked in this hilarious film is the acting of Austin Pendleton, who played the public defender. To stutter, spit, swing the body and swivel the head like he did while delivering his comedy is *very* hard! He's using a gentle form of slapstick comedy that's almost a lost art these days. In general, to play a fool in a comedy like this can often be one of the most physically and precise timing demanding roles an actor or actress can have. Here’s my short list of overlooked "fool comedy reliefs" that I think do this balancing act of physical presence and comic timing well: (10) Actor: Chris Elliot, Role: Larry, Movie: Groundhog Day (9) Actor: Chris Rock, Role: Bony T, Movie: Boomerang (8) Actress: Carrie Fisher, Role: "mystery woman", Movie: The Blues Brothers (7) Actor: Hart Bochner, Role: Harry Ellis, Movie: Die Hard (6) Actor: William Sadler, Role: Death, Movies: Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, Bill & Ted Face The Music (5) Actor: Austin Pendleton, Role: John Gibbons (public defender), Movie: My Cousin Vinny (4) Actor: Jonathan Winters, Role: Lennie Pike, Movie: It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World (3) Actor: Stephen Tobolowsky, Role: Ned, Movie: Groundhog Day (2) Actor: Ned Beaty, Role: Otis, Movie: Superman (1) Actor: Mykelti Williamson, Role: Bubba Blue, Movie: Forest Gump (Heh... guess a day after the 2023 Academy Awards I'm still in an award & recognition mood :-))

Sam Johnson

One of my favorite movies. The scene in the bar when he asked the guy with the neck brace how he hurt himself, remember, he's a personal injury lawyer. lol.

It was interesting to see how you two over-thought the plot and saw a big conspiracy or evil plan by the town. It's probably from watching too many crime movies and documentaries :-D. But it is scary how many people go to jail for circumstances, being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Alfred Hitcock made some great movies about the innocent man being falsely accused. That is some real horror.

Mr Jordan

The two kids were being tried in Alabama but the actual murderers had been arrested one state to the east, in Georgia. Marian is kind've onto it, with communication between police forces, especially back when this movie was made. Alot of laws were changed after 9/11 because that caused alot of problems that day.

Vinny looked at the guy in the neck brace and asked what happened. Because Vinny is a personal injury lawyer. He was looking to see if could make a case for the injured guy.
