captain Feeney

i think will be a good one to watch!

Full metal jacket is great! Another one though to think, about like Rambo, about what war costs.

Dajefe70

dark movies sometimes gives more meaning and hope than ''pinky looking movies'' but not always of course, will check it out though

ohhh nice! sounds like a must!

told ya ^_^ now i wonder how good this movie is! can't wait! Thank you Sam for ur suggestion!

good list btw! will check it out!

they have a special aura right? 80s 90s.. different i don't know. now too much CGI or less work regarding character development

I also enjoyed Richard Dawson in The Running Man. One of the best bad guy characters. Criminally underrated.

Mr Jordan

Full Metal Jacket is a great movie, but it's pretty damn dark. I remember watching it as a teenager and enjoying it, then watching it again in my early 30s and fully appreciating how dark and hopeless it is.

Jeffrey Miller

Planes, Trains and Automobiles is a great comedy. The Running Man is a good, campy, not so serious action flick with some of the best Arnold one-liners of his career.

Jeffrey Miller

Yes, definitely quirky but hilarious.

Mr Jordan

You asked what 80's movies we love aren't listed, so the first one that comes to mind is Excalibur; and that decade was also, I believe, the high point of Woody Allen's career, from which I would cite especially A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy, Zelig, and Radio Days.

Richard Zinns

Raising Arizona is my favourite comedy movie haha nice

Tennille Sinclair

Gandhi, many cinephiles believe, is a movie without parallel in almost all of film history. There were over 80,000 people brought together to make the film, the historic portrayal scenes are matchless, and though the ending must be tragic it is meant to celebrate the greatest virtues living within all of us. Like is mentioned in the movie: "Albert Einstein said of Gandhi, 'Generations to come will scarce believe such a one as this in flesh and blood ever walked upon this earth.' " So.... I guess I'm telegraphing my vote here. 😊 I'd give anything to experience beautiful people watch this beautiful film together.

Sam Johnson

I love 80's movies. You can do a poll just on movies from 1987. Besides "Lethal Weapon" and "Full Metal Jacket" (both very good films), you already watched these 1987 movies: "The Princess Bride", "Predator", "The Untouchables" and "Robocop". Other movies from 1987 I would recommend are: Planes, Trains and Automobiles The Running Man Dirty Dancing Spaceballs Moonstruck Raising Arizona House of Games

Mr Jordan

Absolutely! You're welcome. :) Sincerely, Heidi

Heidi Elizabeth Marcum

that sounds like a challenge ^_^ will check it out! thank you for the suggestion

From the movies listed here, I would like to see you begin reacting to the Lethal Weapon movies, beginning with Lethal Weapon from1987. There are four Lethal Weapon movies in total, and they're all pretty fun. Gandhi is good too. Heidi
