it was quite unique! i admit i watched this before.. but still blew my mind regardless!! in fact i think i need to watch it again!

This is like my tenth time watching this, and I just realized in the final trick, Angier knows Borden is there. When the double is drowning and Borden tries to save him, there is a shot of the audience where you can hear Borden screaming in the background. I just realized, this from the position and angle of the shot, this is Angier's point of view! Where he would normally come out and reveal himself, instead he stays hidden and quiet so Borden will look like he is guilty of killing Angier.

Wow.. This my 3rd time watching this and it's pretty cool how on each viewing you see certain small details that went unnoticed before.. 1st viewing you understand the premise and overall structure of what Nolan is showing us... but on a 2nd or multiple viewings and already knowing the "prestige" of this story, you pick up on so many new and different details.. which was obviously on purpose by Nolan.. Basically this script the way it was written by Nolan and his brother is like a magic trick.. great reaction Marian and Joy..

saw that too! but did u pay attention closely? did u notice who actually mentioned the knot? Cutter build the whole story behind it... just watched a theory based on this movie and it blew my mind.. remember that Cutter divided them right? he used the feudal relationship between them two to make more money.. and at the end he is not even surprised to see the 2nd Borden... bcuz he knew all along

What a fun reaction! You probably already settled the debate about who kills whom in the trick but just in case. I saw it that when Danton tests the machine for the first time, the original shoots the clone. That's when he realized that for the trick to work, he'd have to kill himself for the act to work and said "I had to sacrifice everything". So in the performance, the original kills himself and the clone survives. And then that clone kills himself and the next clone survives and so on.

If you watch closely in the beginning. The wife gives her permission for Borden to try the new knot. So it was an accident. It's her own fault as much as it is his. In my opinion it's Angier who becomes villain in the end. Great reaction you guys! I've watched this movie multiple times and it never gets old. It's definitely worth rewatching atleast once.

Whether the copy or the original was surviving has been debated for some time. I think the internet figured out a theory, What a great movie. Inception is even more crazier.
