It's such a fun time and a movie with so many likable characters and stories. Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum have great chemistry and both are so charismatic. In the recent Rush Hour reaction Joy was talking about how there are unnecessary sequels that come out decades later, well Independence Day had a bad sequel come out in 2016. Don't watch it I highly recommend another Jeff Goldblum film, 'The Fly' (1986). It's a cult classic and loved film. The less I say about the movie the better. It's only 95minutes long too. 2023-03-27 02:14:23 +0000 UTCThe actor that plays Dr Okun (the Dr with the long hair) is Brent Spiner, who played the android Data on the long running Star Trek: The Next Generation. Also....at the very end when all the 'fireworks' were raining down I kept expecting a cut scene of everyone watching...and then getting hit with all the fall-out from the mothership....running....screaming....
