Avengers: Infinity War (2018) Full Movie Reaction

Comments

oh i can only imagine.. too many would-be mind-blown by the ending though..

Too bad y'all didn't get to see this film when it was in theaters. It was nothing but a collective mix of crying and pissed off at the end of the film. Nobody could believe Thanos had won.

He definitely isn’t. Still, I get it - everyone has a favorite character and wants to see them in their best light. Besides, he lost against Thanos, so what's a brother gonna do? The Big Purple T was literally the strongest being in the universe at that point (that we are aware of at this point in the MCU). That said, perhaps YOUR Hulk is still out there somewhere…another time, another universe perhaps. Remember, the Doctor Strange film introduced you to the concept of a multi-verse, so don’t give up hope. 😉 Also…I really hate that Universal is so stingy with Hulk. Marvel’s hands really are tied. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

William

is gonna happen so so soon!

hahaha trueee

that makes sense.. it feels like he is the weakest character tough

oooooh mah god I can't wait til you two watch end-game. Eeeeeeeee!

Alyson Addington

I think we can safely say Vision is alive. And we will have to disagree on the stones, we've learned very little regarding what they cannot do but what is stated they can do is immense. Not to spoil anything but we know they can recreate the entire universe, fill it with life and then control it. That sounds like a wish machine to me, and I think Thanos, given another chance, realizes his initial mistake. Also remember Thanos has gone from planet to planet for years manually exterminating half the population, practically hand by hand. He knows how to put in the time, and that's why he changes his mind about his methods later. But that is a discussion for next time.

Joy: “she’s freaking apart of the guardians of the galaxy “ Marian:”not anymore “🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yes but Vision isn't life. He is a sentient being, but other things created him. Not really the Mind Stone by itself. Sentience means awareness, not life. And snapping his fingers doesn't grant a wish. It is a limited ability. So creating life permanently I think is actually a tough feat and he would have to do that manually on every individual planet. Which would take much too long. And again like all villains, no matter how much he thought of it.... he's flawed. So he arrived at mass murder in instead of preservation.

I don't think it was ever established whether the stones could create life or not, and it seems like they can at least in the person of Vision. At any rate it would take more than increasing resources, he could also reduce growth naturally and carefully and do other things to enable a stable universe population.

JD Nevesytrof

You're certainly going to find ETERNALS to be rather interesting in this regard, Marian. That's all I am going to say about that. 😉

William

Fwiw, keep in mind that there is only so much Marvel can do with Hulk/Banner - The character rights are owned by Universal, not Disney/Marvel Studios (similar to how Sony owns Spider-Man). That's why there hasn't been another "Hulk" movie in the MCU. Besides, you’ve yet to everything in store for that character…👍🏼😉

William

LOL! 😉

William

Actually the infinity stones can't create life. So there wasn't really another solution. I'm sure he's thought long and hard about it. But that is really the only thing he could have done that would prolong the universes death. Even if he could make more resources, it would actually hasten our consumption of it, putting us in real crisis. But less populations means it would take longer to repopulate and its longer until we burn out our resources. But really there is no answer. We can't permanently extend our life. Our planet will one day become irreversibly damaged and we won't be able to survive the lack of food or material resources. But less people would extend it longer than making more resources.

Lorenzo Baxter

Even if Evolution was true, Thanos could have become a hero by not killing many, but by using his power to feed many and to stabilize the population naturally. He could heal worlds and make them gardens full of crops without inflicting terror and grief. His problem is he wanted too simple a solution to a problem that is too complex, he wanted to snap his fingers once instead of working hard to solve overpopulation properly.

JD Nevesytrof

Well they have to make some changes. And they have to make characters weaker, otherwise fights will be top easy. Hulk and Thor would beat all their enemies with ease so they had to make some heroes stronger and others weaker. And there are versions of Hulk where Bruce is actually present when the Hulk is in control, where Hulk can think and talk normal and everything.

Lorenzo Baxter

I definitely don't think he's a hero, he's still wrong to kill, but we kill each other every day in the name of peace. So it shows everyone in the universe is flawed. Yeah he's got a God complex. He sees himself as a savior. Thats where is delusion comes from. But his thoughts about overpopulation do make sense and it's such a hard deal. But that's why he appeals to me. He's so flawed like all of us, but he makes the decisions no one else has made. That makes him seem so arrogant yet so noble with how he thinks of himself. It's that balance that he talks of all through the movie.

Lorenzo Baxter

whaaat?? a year?? oh you mean bcuz that's how people waiting for the release of the movie?? haha to bad we started now muuuuuhhahahahahahahahaaa!! we can spam them and watch them in a day mwuuuuhahahahahahaha =)))))

ohhh boy!! it's happening!!

ohhh can't wait!!

I agree and disagree at the same time. and I will tell you why, if Atheism and Evolution is true? Thanos is the best Hero we can get.. but if Creation and God are real.. he is the worst devil you can get. bcuz nobody has the right to take anyone's life but God.. of course many will disagree with my statement.. but life is a gift, that no one among the living have the right to steal it or end it. God on the other hand, he doesn't kill.. he relocates people. but of course this is exclusively my own opinion.. but like I said.. if evolution is true.. he is indeed a great hero

i said it,, and i will say again.. MCU did a terrible Job with Hulk... this ain't the hulk I know. probably they will never make another great hulk movie. Banner wasn't supposed to be in control of Hulk.. but MCU killed that terribly, the first Hulk of MCU was good... him alone.. and the best animation of Hulk is this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8nkXPAtGbk&t=773s&ab_channel=ZimautAnimation now that is what I call ''a Hulk to remember''

The bad guy won. THAT'S what happened. Mwuahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Now you have to wait a year to find out what happens next. It's the rules. 🤪

William

The symbol it showed at the end was a call to Captain Marvel. Avengers: Endgame gets pretty crazy.

K Gallagher

That symbol at the end was the symbol of a character you will meet in a movie you will watch very soon.

Lorenzo Baxter

I know it's easy to hate Thanos, but he's actually my favorite part of this movie. Yes Thanos is not fully in the right and he doesn't see why killing so many people, even if it's painless like he did with dusting them, is wrong. He thinks it's the price worth paying. And I think he does care about the universe, but its clouded by his trauma. He said his home planet died due to overpopulation. And he said killing half of them would let the rest thrive. But no one listened, and all his people perished. So that pain makes him think if they did things his way, they would have lived. And the problem is that apparently Gamoras home world survived after he tried his idea. That validates his plan and makes him think, "if it works here, it could work everywhere." Thus starts his mission. I know he is obsessed and misguided, but he is such admirable character in this movie. With the way he sees himself and what he is willing to do. He isn't doing this for power, and he isn't trying to make himself happy. Proof of this is right at the end, he accomplished his mission, but at the cost of everything he cares about. He has little to live for, which is why he just sits and watches the sun rise. But he is happy because he believes he saved the universe. This quality of self sacrifice, isn't in a lot of these selfish villains we see in older movies who just want power. This is the same quality one of my favorite heroes, Captain America has. Completing the mission at their own sake, even if they suffer while doing it. Few other villains have that, which is why I have a weird feeling of supporting Thanos. Not because I want people to die, but because he is willing to give all he has, even his own life, for the sake of what he believes in. That's why he's so complex, he has a lot of villain qualities, but so many heroic parts to him as well. He didn't do it for a reward, he did it because he believed in it, however deluded he is. He's the only villain I've almost wanted to win more than the heroes. The only other villain I've felt this much sympathy or support for was Darth Vader.

Lorenzo Baxter

Marian, is the Hulk still your favorite? 🤔
