I don't know, because there's no garuntee that would happen. Whatever reason for Tony taking this, he made so many mistakes so he probably thought "I need someone to take the wheel, because I can't be trusted to make the big decisions." That's profound because if there are more qualified people, its important they help make the best choices. I think maybe the Accords weren't the best choice, but they couldn't just go around doing what they wanted anymore. It's too much chaos. There must be a way to control the chaos, and I'm sure there would have been a good compromise... if Zemo hadn't been there to ruin everything.

is more like a flip coin kind a thing.. Tony couldn't take it anymore, he let so many mourn for the loved ones they lost... so he toke the lesser option that will somewhat take his blame away.. he wasn't really ''owning'' the responsibility like Cap did ''there will always be people dying, but if we can save more than those who dies... is worth it'' if they will wait for the government approval, they will probably allow the devil go hand in hand with them.. or go there to late

I know that this is an older video, but while Tony is immature, he has a point. I understand not trusting government, but if there is a way to prevent death and destruction, they should take it. It's like Natasha said "If we have one hand on the wheel we can still steer." I'm not saying the governments of the world should be trusted but it might be the lesser of two evils because human lives matter more than anything. Thats why I'm kind of on Tony's side at least politically.

ohhh yess. i love this one, Tony always been a guy with Maturity issues. he think he does the right thing.. but at the end of the day, he is just a kid no more than Spiderman.. Steve is the true Character of soldier who can sacrifice his life for the weak.. he doesn't have many second thoughts when it comes to fight for justice.. yes there will always be losses.. but we gotta see and count how much we saved either.. if we let one sad story blurr our minds, milions will perish.. that's Steve

This one broke me, honestly. I always felt it was a little out of character for Tony to go all in the way he did. Especially when he spent most of the last five movies being as ass to anyone associated with authority in general and the government in particular. I can understand his feelings of guilt over the whole Ultron thing but then I get the feeling that he's projecting his own guilt onto everybody else, and doesn't have the perspective that Steve does.
Steve, on the other hand, has seen how even government oversight groups with good intentions can be corrupted from the inside and how foolish it is to trust any organization completely. I think he started out in the same place Tony did, but all his idealism came crashing down around his ears when he found HYDRA littered all the way through SHIELD, which I'm sure was a very rude awakening. Tony's never had to go through that, and it was heartbreaking to see the two of them have such a brutal falling out.
