Just a quick note on the scene where Bilbo lets Gollum go rather than kill him, do you remember what Gandalf said to Frodo while they were in Moria? "Don't be so eager to deal out death and judgement....the pity of Bilbo may rule the fate of many." :) And you guys are on it with picking up the subtle references and connections back to the original trilogy! I'm excited to see your reactions to the Desolation of Smaug and the Battle of the Five armies!
