Stage and my old Bard(fixed)

Heyaaa! Made a little tavern stage: curtains are totally optional. I also fixed some issues on my very first Bard mini, added some pouches etc, and now it's gonna print without issues. So I figured I'd share him cause he fits the theme so well!

Glad you understand! That's exactly what I had in mind! Both a small break from sculpting people and something that can be easily printed on SLA printers without waste of material! And I try to make pieces that are reusable (not just for a single encounter or scene).

I agree, scatter is a nice bonus. A few bits likely help to inspire a month's theme, and I assume they might be a bit of a break from sculping clothing, hair, etc. I like that they are all smallish things that work for tabletop. Other scultors seem to now do a huge piece each month that has a big "wow" factor but that requires litres of resin or spools of filament but not much reusability. Good for diaramas maybe, but less so for anyone else. A canoe? A chair? A little tent? Yes please. A giant cathedral? No thanks.

I was simply looking for clarification. Is that ok?

Hey buddy, I think you're stressing yourself out too much. I've been doing 9-10 per month, and I've already done 7 this month and it's gonna be 9 tomorrow. And it's only 14th of August. I don't understand the issue :)

Ok....how many minis are you planning on releasing per month? I'll base my future decisions on that. I had hoped your mini production might increase over time. But, at least now you've heard 2 opinions out of 52.... Just remember, your merchants are the ones that will stick around forever. Regular backers come and go.

Ron

Yup. I myself consider terrain pieces a bonus too, especially if it's themed terrain. And I wouldn't do any terrain if I wasn't already ahead on minis this month :)

I cannot say for merchants, but as a backer I say props are very usable even there are already more others/similar in the market. I take the props as a bonus, because minis and their specific characters are the always the main drive. I'm just wondering how does it harm the merchant when you release 5+ minis every month anyway, but as a bonus you will add some props...?

That's an odd way to look at it.... Anyways, my point is that the terrain is not something that we'll ever use. To be honest, there's much, much better quality stuff out there. Random bars and stages aren't doing us any good. We support a LOT of artists so I have to make decisions about who to keep and who to cut very carefully. Until now, you've filled a very specific need. I hope that continues into the future.... :)

For this month, yeah, it's a 50/50, but if you count the models, I already almost reached the amount of Minis I usually make every month, and we still have more than half of August to go. So the value for you didn't change, it's just increasing for people that also print terrain :)

YourNeighborKnight

Is this a new direction for you (half minis and half little bits of scatter)? I don't use any of your scatter stuff at all and likely never will so if it is then I'm getting far less value as a merchant.
