Hard Reality

It's been a long time since I posted here and I apologize for that. Let me give you an update.

Simple fact the matter is that my disability situation has really been impacting the game development. I literally can't sit down this week due to variety of factors, which means I can't do visual effects work or edit voice files or pretty much anything that requires a mouse. I can technically write but it's really been hard to get in the mood to do that when I still have to do my day job and I'm feeling rundown by the health situation in general.

I don't doubt that if I was at 100% I could probably get this thing out before Halloween, but if this point I don't honestly know. I can see the path ahead of me, it's pretty clear what needs to be done and everything is nicely laid out in to do lists. It's just a matter of, like, doing it. Some of the writing is going to be challenging, yeah, but I know what scene is supposed to be. It's just a matter of getting enough of myself together to actually throw at the problems.

My retirement from my day job should be complete sometime between August and November. That's going to free me up quite a bit since it'll let me use my extremely limited amount of time sitting down to actually do stuff for the game.

So in short, the game is absolutely going to be finished, I just don't know when. And I understand that you folks are throwing money at me through the Patreon on an ongoing basis without a heck of a lot in return, so I absolutely understand if you need to drop support temporarily or even permanently. This is all completely voluntary, your way of supporting the development however you see fit. No hard feelings.

I will try to post here more frequently, even if it's just my thoughts on the game industry and other tangential subjects.
