Day One Thanks

A hell of a lot of people joined up today, and you have my deepest thanks. Whether you're tossing one dollar my way or five or whatever. All of it is going to go towards this dream of working on games and releasing them for everyone.

The plan is to get the first blog post going soon, discussing topics about the game project and the game industry in general. I'll have that up this week. If anyone has any suggestions for things they'd like me to write a short essay about, go ahead and leave it in the comments.

I'm also going to have the first prototype playable download available this week. It should be one week of the story, allowing you to meet each of the characters. There are still some temporary assets in the game, so apologies for that, but it will be improving over time.

For anyone chipping in five bucks, you'll not only get the download, you're also going to get a role on the Discord to allow you to discuss the beta in a closed environment. Link Patreon to Discord and it's automatically yours. This is optional, if you just wanna leave comments here or send me a message or even just play it for fun or don't play at all...? It's your dime, do with it as you wish! You're under no obligation to do quality assurance work.

I should warn you that Patreon is apparently going to charge everybody again on March 1. I'm not thrilled about that, honestly I should've waited to launch this thing until next month, but it's the situation we've got. If you want to pause your payments, that's completely understandable.

I'm also not sure how this is going to affect people who were subscribed back in 2019, when the Patreon originally went on hiatus. The website is showing them is still paying me but some of them have reported that I'm not actually on their subscription list? Patreon is a mess. We'll get through it.
