{ star tier+ } new emote sketches! 12.04.24

hellooooo again!

after a good long while away from working on anything more mollystars-centric, i've found myself in a position where i'm both comfortable and kind of Needing to make some new assets for my sona! i haven't started working on any new videos just yet, but the first step to getting back on the youtube grind is now well into motion, that being:

MAKING A NEW EDITION OF EMOTES FOR MY SONA!!!!

this is v3.0 of these emotes, specifically...

the last time i made any emotes for my sona that wasn't for neet/editor molly was in the middle of 2023, and the last proper Edition of emotes was at the beginning of that year. for clarification, i'm still pretty happy with the emotes that i used for THE DEVICE THEORY! but, my artstyle has improved so much already since then, as did my editing/overall production quality visually, that it feels only apt to take what i had, and upgrade it once more. and, this time around, i had a much more refined vision for how i wanted her to look like, and i hope it makes her stick out even more than she already does, as from this point forward, i plan to lean even harder into The Branding, so to speak.

i'm still keeping the overall cutesy vibe to her, but this time adding a bit more of a..."Tumblr SexyFailureThing" aura to some of these new emotes that i'm v interested to see the final products of especially. it's something i've had in mind for her for a while, but never quite knew how to convey until now. now that i've actually Gotten it to some extent, i think a Lot of new possibilities will be opening up for how i'll be portraying her in the future ... :)

as of now, i've just finished all the sketches i needed for this new edition of emotes, and i plan to work on making them all Complete within the next few days, if i can help it! i've gotten so used to drawing her that it should go pretty easily for me at this point, so expect a follow-up post to this w/ some of the complete emotes rather soon. hope y'all like these sketches for now, though ^^
