


This is Forneus the Game Shark, and my work this month has been focusing on his level spanning quest to prove that his best friend Jerry cheated at all the arcade machines
At first he just needs you to check if the games are tampered with.




Since Zap doesn't recognize these games, Forneus gives him the Glitch spell that lets him enter electronics. I wanted to do at least one puzzle where you have to take advantage of the spell you're rewarded with at the end. What keeps Zap from taking the spell and running?



Without getting a token from Forneus, Zap will die pretty damn bad if he attempted to use the Glitch spell outside of the arcade.
Once Zap gives him the okay, Forneus decides THEY should cheat. It's Jerry's fault for making him think he cheated in the first place!
Helping him cheat will give you access to the Pact Man cabinet, which is needed to finish the level.
I'm also working on adding a cutscene skip button to the options menu (still gotta draw the button). It'll allow button presses or mouse clicks to skip the big full screen cutscenes. This way people who don't wanna skip them can't do it accidentally, but people who do have the option to.
I'm planning on getting all the casino cutscenes skippable by the end of the month, but since it has to be done manually, the other levels will have a build with skippable cutscenes when the casino level gets added to the big game build.
