Resident Evil's Inventory

Though they have placeholder graphics, the green and red mushrooms are in the game! (Formerly herbs. They still kinda do the same thing :V )


Using healing items, as well as the function that reorganizes the inventory after you use an item, are both in the game! (Everything still has blobby placeholder graphics tho) Here's what's planned at the moment:
Green Mushroom: Restores 1/5 of max HP. Starts at 40, about enough to change your health icon to the next one in line.
Blue Mushroom: Cures Corruption, which causes you to slowly lose HP and occasionally rub your bulge. Corruption cannot fully change you into a satyr (HP can't go to 0 from this.), so even if you're really low on health, seeking one of these out is vital.
Pink Mushroom: Raises MAX HP by 20. There are planned to be five total in the game, letting your HP become 150% of its starting total.
Red Mushroom: Can be used on other mushrooms to to mix them into a powder that makes them more effective. Makes green mushrooms fully heal you, while adding healing effects to the other two. (The greenish yellow powder in the inventory is green mixed with red)
The plan is to have all of the mushrooms be visually distinct to help colorblind people, which I tried to convey with the placeholder sprite as well.
With this in, all that's left is to code picking up items and putting them in the inventory! I'll be back on Thursday with more goodies for you guys! :D
