Progress Update and the Rest of the Year
Added 2019-10-15 16:18:31 +0000 UTCHey guys, I've been doing a lot of work on Zap and Andy lately.

Inventory items now have labels and the ability to be examined by looking at them, which can be used to do things like open up an envelope or look for clues on a piece of paper.

I think it adds a little more interaction to the game, and will give us more space for visual gags and especially visual storytelling in a primarily text based genre.

I've also been doing a lot of work with new cuts of sprites for Zap and Andy, maximizing empty space for emoting but not having enough that it gets in the way of dialog that pops up over their heads.

There was a LOT of sprites to be worked on, over 180.
On another note, after the release of the second Joey scenario, I'm going to go into a full focus on getting a full scale demo ready for the twine game. This means that Tales from the Twine won't happen as often, but you will get the demo earlier since I can space the work differently, and there's a lot to be done that's either drawing or coding locations rather than writing sex scenes.
For instance, there's a system to be put in place where you can get hints about what to do next by giving the character Saturday a high quality cigar, and that will take a lot of coding to make sure the hints given are appropriate to the section of the game you're in. I think this will work a lot more smoothly than Dysmorph's hint system.
I will of course continue to work on Zap and Andy at the same pace, so expect updates on that as well.
I'll be back on Friday with the update to the Joey demo, you guys take care! :D
