"Retro" or "Hell No"
Added 2019-09-13 21:10:33 +0000 UTCHey guys, I was wondering how you would like the aesthetic of the twine game to be.
Would you prefer a more retro NES style feel, similar to the rpgs that use a similar battle system and inspired it.
These are some examples from the era. Like the twine game they used a black background for battles, so a similar effect could be achieved.
I'm interested in giving this a try, but what do you guys think? Do you think retro NES style graphics could be a good edition to this game, or should I stick to my SNES-esque graphics I usually do?
EDIT: Artem suggested I show the styles side by side, and I think that's a good idea.

The response so far has been strong, but I want you guys to be able to make the best informed choice, even if this new stuff doesn't change that.
