2026-02-26 09:53:52 +0000 UTCAlso, I’m glad me and Joanna were able to provide context in what happened at X hotel between Hua Yong and Shaoyou (and that you actually read our explanations) because Hua Yong is such a complicated character and his and Shaoyou’s love story is so interesting (especially now that Shaoyou already knows the truth), that it would be a shame if you let that one scene stop you from fully enjoying the rest of their dynamics

2026-02-25 20:17:54 +0000 UTCI absolutely love the earthquake scene because it gives us an insight to how deep Hua Yong’s love for Shaoyou really is. Even when he’s dangerously injured, his priority will always be Shaoyou. The “he’s hurt” message, the hovering of his hand over Shaoyou because he doesn’t want to dirty Shaoyou’s face with his blood, the pulling of the rod from his back so Shaoyou won’t see and panic…Also, I dont know if you noticed but Shaoyou mentioned Hua Yong was still releasing soothing pheromones. Take note of that because they’ll explain a bit more next episode regarding how that affects/helps others (or in this case, Shaoyou). Migz’ Scarlet Witch reference is actually not that far off lol

2026-02-25 19:16:02 +0000 UTCI know we joke that Wenlang is dumb (and he is, to a certain extent) but to be fair, he also really trusts anything Gao Tu says so that’s why he never questioned the things that would have been obvious to everyone else. Gao Tu said he’s a beta and that he has a long-term partner (an omega). Wenlang accepts those as facts, any inconsistencies with those, he just kind of dismisses on the basis of “Gao Tu wouldnt lie to me”

Alphas bodies aren't built for carrying babies though so it's not recommended
