2025-11-16 19:30:29 +0000 UTCI hope you don't get your hopes too high for Wenlang and Gao Tu. In the novel, they barely have any time. A few scenes were added to this series for them and a couple of changes were made but in the novel, most of their story happens in the bonus chapters (that unfortunately aren't in the series). They're still a fun side couple though, I'm glad we had their story in between Hua Yong and Shaoyu When watching this show, I kept reminding myself that it's one of the first Chinese BLs that we've got to see in full. Back when Thai BLs starting airing for example, many of their side couples didn't have much screentime, some even were teased so much that they didn't get any development until their own series.
