I really feel that the show was neve able to fully recover from the mess that happened in the middle of the season. The show started to go downhill in episode 3 and kept getting worse up until episode 7, but it wasn't enough to really fix things.
I still genuinely LOVE the main couple and their chemistry and their dynamic and wish we got to focus on them more. The angst that was introduced was just messy and didn't make sense, so even their great chemistry wasn't enough to save those episodes for us.
The way they shoehorned the romance between Song Hyun and Simeon at the end was MESSY. They could have spend more episodes developing that and teasing that instead of doing it all in the finale.
Overall would love to see the main couple in more shows, but unfortunately this one was a BopFlop for us.

I will probably pass on this one. Tried watching the first ep and couldn't get into it. I'm probably just tired of all the workplace BLs that have all been boss/employee relationship.
