THANK YOU for validating our feelings. I guess I just feel bad sometimes cause I also don’t want to invalidate how others feel if they think positively about something we felt negatively about. But I do agree that it’s important for us to always be honest and we always try to maintain that. I’m also just kind of scarred cause we’ve had people give us crap for having certain opinions in our reactions and I’m still learning how to brush that off and not let it bother me.
YES, totally agree. At this point Diao and Yi haven’t yet had a proper talk about their issues (something we point out in future reactions as well). All the couples really struggle to be 100% honest with each other. But I felt like with Diao and Yi, it was handled and portrayed in a way where it wasn’t annoying or exhausting like it is with the main couple.
Yes!!! That’s actually why they felt “random” to us because they didn’t feel earned. It didn’t feel like they built enough of a connection or even enough chemistry and that’s why it felt like something was missing. It didn’t feel like the show properly built up to those moments so it felt out of place.
Episode 11 definitely made us feel better about them (finally lol). Excited to read your thoughts. Thanks for watching and sharing your insights with us! ☺️♥️ -Brian

You two are biased in your opinion and there is nothing wrong with it. Brian continually apologizes for his frustrations and I wish he did because I hate when people make others feel guilty for having a difference of opinion. You two are obviously more invested in Yi and Diao's storyline and that is perfectly ok, but I'd like to point out they have yet to resolve their issue just as Lian and Kuea. Because Lian and Kuea are the shows main couple and main focus we get more details of the things happening in their relationship so things continually pile on to one another with out any clarity or conversation. As a viewer you project your views and how you feel you'd reaction to situations on to the characters so when the character doesn't respond the way you want it builds to your frustrations and both Lian and Kuea are very frustrating but what I appreciated about the series in hindsight is that even though I never agrees with all the lies and secrets, we got to watch how Kuea ( this young, naive, sheltered boy) dealt with what was happening in his life as it happened instead of it being a half conversation here and a half conversation there and the problem is solved, we actually watch how he internalized everything which is something we all do. Personally I was like you both though I couldn't allow myself to root for Lian and Kuea, There intimate scenes didn't seem as random to me as they do to you, but I felt as if they were missing something and it's because I felt neither of them were really opening up to the other for the audience to feel a real love connections (and maybe that was intentional on the directing staff). There is a shift coming that changed my mind on them though and I wonder if the same will happen for either of you or if your current frustrations with the way things are going will cause a lack of payoff by the end (going to watch 11 now)
