TharnType Episode 4 (Full Reaction)

That is NOT something a straight man would ever propose hahahahaha we all know it's what he wanted deep down and he's just in denial. So he had to make up an excuse that he didn't want to "owe" Tharn anything hahahaha. Type sweetie plsssssss!!!!
It's the way Tharn was like "are you free saturday" and without hesitation Type was like "if it's for sex then yes." LOLOL I knew after the first experience he would want more!
But also on a more serious note, I really like the character progression we got here. I really like that Type finally opened up about his trauma. From the beginning I needed there to be a valid reason why Type was so vehemently homophobic and I'm glad they're giving us those layers.
I also really like how Tharn was super gentle and tender with him. You can see how hesitant Type was with kissin at first. But then you slowly see him really put down his walls and passionately kiss him back. Having a good, safe and positive gay sex experience is so important for him to heal from the bad experience he had when he was young.
Interested to see how things progress from here! Eventually Type is going to have to stop being in denial and fully come to terms with his feelings for Tharn. And from there he's going to have to process coming out! Ahhhh, I'm invested for sure.
Can't wait for next ep!

2022-09-01 23:37:29 +0000 UTCWell, I guess for some ppl these themes are really triggering and they can't watch past that, especially when they're not addressed in the manner these ppl consider appropriate... if stopping watching the series saved their inner piece, good for them I guess. Oh, only Gulf (Type) was a newbie back then. Mew (Tharn) had quite a lot of experience by that time, about 10 years in the industry including acting in some BLs as well, in support roles though. But I didn't feel that gap in experience (or age btw) at all when I was watching it for the first time, they both did an amazing job. Don't worry, I don't like spoilers myself so I'm definitely not the type to spoil other ppl as well. LOL, well yeah, I like this feeling of watching smth together, that's why I prefer full reactions, even though highlights may seem more exciting. I'm actually more annoyed at ppl joking all the time, even during serious moments, or talking about random stuff and missing important points or details. So being silent sometimes is definitely ok for me, I know it takes a lot to watch smth new, especially in another language with subtitles. Thanks for the reply and see you soon! Thank you for this, I always love getting long comments! ☺️ I have also heard that many dropped the show after a few episodes and I think it’s unfortunate that they didn’t get to experience the scenes of the characters both opening up in this episode. This episode provided so much depth and important context that gives you a deeper understanding of Type’s behavior from the beginning! The actors did a fantastic job of conveying the emotion and it really sold the scene for me. I didn’t know they were just newbies here so that makes it even more impressive! I KNEW THOSE BEDS HAD TO COME TOGETHER AT SOME POINT LOLOL. Thank you for not spoiling it for me ☺️🙏🏼 Haha and thank you for the reassurance about me being silent sometimes. I just always want to make sure it’s fun and engaging for the viewer and I feel like just watching me stare is boring HAHA. 2022-08-25 02:59:31 +0000 UTCI almost screamed when you commented about those beds that should be pushed together XDD But I didn't want to spoil things of course so I patiently waited for this episode instead. Apart from really good NC scene (well, IDK if it can be considered really NC after KinnPorsche and other stuff, but... it's still very sensual and hot. I believe MewGulf kiss scenes are ones of the best from what I've watched this far, they just feel so real) my favorite two scenes are probably Tharn talking with seniors and Type telling his story to Tharn. That last one is iconic and a turning point for many ppl (I know some couldn't get through and dropped the series after ep 3, but most of those who stayed up to ep 4 watched till the end and loved it, I believe). Gulf really shines there, his acting skills are no joke, especially for a 21-years old newbie he was back then. Yeah, they're both really handsome and their chemistry is amazing, but what really "sold" them to me were their acting skills. Speaking of which, I believe that scene where Tharn apologizes on Type's behalf is so underrated and I love it so much. It tells a lot about Tharn as a character, and I also feel like Mew's acting there is 10 out of 10. All those eyes expressions, voice changes and everything... those tiny emotional nuances are actually really hard to convey naturally, and I believe he does amazing job there. Episodes 5 and 6 are probably my favorite ones in the entire show... well, ones of those, so I'm looking forward for your reaction. We love good rollercoaster of emotions, and that's what this show definitely is. Another long comment XDD Btw, I really love your analysis after the episode, and please don't worry that you stay silent sometimes during the reaction, we can see that you're just genuenly invested into the series. As for me, it feels more natural this way when reactors don't force themselves and it's like watching the show together with a friend.

I can only imagine what they did with it in the book hahah. I totally didn’t expect to get so much character progression 4 episodes in but I’m here for it!! and yesssss! I love Techno. He’s a wonderful moral compass for Type! He understands where Type is coming from, but he’s never afraid to call Type out on his bullshit. I love that!! I’m definitely getting super invested. I see why so many people have lots of thoughts about this show hahah.

Sorry for the long comment, I have a lot to say haha Techno is, in fact, a very good friend all throughout the show and it is kind of reassuring that Type has a good and reasonable friend by his side because he could really use that. One thing that I loved is that Type opened up way earlier than I thought he would have and I’m glad he did. What Tharn gave to him are just ice cubes nothing too crazy haha and if I remember correctly in the book, the ice cubes weren’t exactly used like in the show but was too explicit to be put in the show ; liked the fact that they still used the ice cubes as it is also a metaphor for healing meaning that Type is now trying/in the process to heal from what happened to him. The excuse of "I don’t want to own you anything" GIRL we all know that’s bullshit haha ! TharnType is a show where you think in 4 episodes so much happen and that it will get calmer but in fact it is very much only the beginning haha.
