Your analysis game is on-point sir! Stacy's jealousy seems to only have ignited further now that Lexi's literally an attention hog, and I suspect she'd do quite a lot to get her spotlight back. Personally, I'm rooting for Cass/Lex myself, but shipping the two protagonists/cutest fatties ever is no surprise haha. A side-story involving Stacey getting fat could be pretty fun, or finding herself in a relationship with a blimp like Lexi.

Everything you've said is pretty much exactly what I was trying to put into the subtext so I'm super happy you picked up on all that :) I can see the appeal of that storyline but I think we all know who the main love interest is lol. Definitely keeping some similar dynamics in mind for future stories though!

Beautifully illustrated, the contrast in size of the characters is flawless, the flabbiness to Lexi's form nicely depicted through Stacy prodding the spongy tissue. The faces are first rate; Stacy has the lean, almost aristocratic features while Lexi and Cassandra have the softer well-fed and pedestrian look while remaining cute. The dialogue speaks volumes concerning their former friendship / rivalry. Maybe I'm reading more into this than I should but I sort of have an inkling that prior to Lexi becoming a butterball, she might have been more popular than Stacy. Stacy's resentment and bitterness toward Lexi is finally given liberty since she no longer needs to pretend she likes her now that she's no longer a member of their social circle. Lexi's status has definitely changed, and becoming the type of girl they used to pick on, is now open target for ridicule. Finally, and please don't take this the wrong way because your comic is very impressive and I know you've been working very hard churning out the pages. However, I imagine the slimmer version of Lexi having high standards and only dated the most exclusive guys on campus. Dating certain guys then dropping them like a bad habit when somebody much more lucrative to her needs came around. I know you've probably written this story far in advance than what you have already posted and I really mean no offense but speaking for myself, I would rather see Lexi becoming involved with some shy dude who's a fat admirer and didn't cotton to her when she was thin but now is completely captivated by the weight she has put on and has developed a natural fondness for her. Just my opinion. Cheers and kudos!

2023-07-13 02:23:15 +0000 UTCMuch as I could never see Lexi with anyone other than Cass in canon, I admit- I kinda love the idea of Stacey and Lexi together, ramping up that bully/sexual tension and really going hard on the artery-clogging verbiage. Would be fun to see such a slim gal fattening Lexi into blob territory and beyond, much like some of the sketches :D Fantastic page btw, and I really appreciate you made it so Cass steps in, Lexi doesn't need some guy indeed!
