Somewhere along the way, I realized my investment in the story was matching my desire for fat fun, if not surpassing it- and by this point I will cheer even louder for a heartfelt love confession than I might at Lexi breaking the bed under her flab, or even discovering more about Cass' magical interests. 2023-02-23 10:48:28 +0000 UTCI imagine for someone who was just automatically given attention and admiration from others, Lex would struggle to recognize unrequited feelings when she doesn't expect them. With both how low her self esteem was since her life took a total 180°, and knowing how terribly she treated everyone outside her old cheerleading squad, I don't totally fault her if she still feels like she doesn't deserve love and attention after her dramatic transformation. And, to be fair to Lex, Cass wanted to see Lex's life ruined just months ago. Whether or not Lex knows Cass was way past that weeks ago, they both hadn't really had a heart-to-heart about their past differences to really grow the level of intimacy that they both want. That heart-to-heart can, and probably will, happen, but both Lex and Cass are scared of losing each other as friends if the conversation goes wrong. Lex lost all her friends, something that'd leave trust issues while losing her entire support system: Cass still feels subconsciously guilty of the power she has over Lex. Maybe that's too much consideration for a magical weight-gain story, but I have grown to love the two characters. I hope the two can genuinely move on positively in the future, and for Lex to rebuild her self esteem and love for herself with the help of someone who loves her back, even if she once wanted to see her life ruined.

I'm a little surprised(and kinda glad) Cass hasn't tried a love-potion or something, and I'm quite curious where we'll go from here! Another kinky dream, or perhaps school shenanigans? Also, your face-game keeps one-upping itself. Cass' flirtatious charm and awkward, deflated expressions are absolutely stellar.
