Adventure Outline #001: The Beast of Shitters' Creek

This isn't immediately playable content, but it's the kind of outline I would draft up to plan an adventure. Crafting personalities for the NPCs, balancing the encounters, creating the maps — those are all things which would be unique to your style and your table, but these story beats should help along the way.
When we get a few of these adventure outlines up on Patreon, maybe I could expand one into a full adventure module?

I feel like it'd be handy to have some ideas on the secret witness, it feels like a missing detail in this. But that suggestion of a wolf cub is gold. I wouldn't have thought of it, but with it suggested, I can see how the party would love it. Also, in point 3, the second sentence is weird. "Disguised to the family is unaware of the danger they're in". Also also, am I reading it right that the mimic is killing animals but *only* eating their hearts?
