YouTube Memberships Explained

Hey everyone, youtube are ALWAYS encouraging creators to setup youtube memberships, I personally don't think my channel is very suited for it, plus I already have Patreon for that kind of thing.

But they have recently started offering creators a significant cash bonus for setting up the memberships, and they are giving additional cash bonuses for the first 100 people who sign up.

I have thought about a way I can try get this bonus from YT without creating a heap of new work, and I believe the best way is to create an EARLY ACCESS AD FREE MEMBERSHIP

This will be the same as the Early Access $5 Tier on Patreon, but it will be $3AUD instead (approx).
The big difference will be that the youtube membership will not get any of the Patreon Full Length Content that goes up on the Early Access Tier (eg. Taskmaster Ep1 of each season, random full length reactions, movie poll full length reaction).

So I think its still better value to stay on the Patreon tier, but if people find the YT Memberships more convenient or whatever, then I hope this option is helpful.

I just wanted to speak on this directly with my patreon members and make sure you understand there will be zero change to Patreon, I just want to get youtube's sweet sweet "Please setup a channel membership" money lol.

Does anybody here use channel memberships on youtube? I'm new to this world, so very curious
