Live Stream TimeZone
Added 2025-08-15 01:28:23 +0000 UTCHey everyone, the channels 5 year anniversary is coming up, and I am going to attempt a couple of hour long live stream on youtube. Its not my strength, but I'm hoping the engagement will keep the energy going and make it something memorable.
I was looking at the times zones, and this is what i'm thinking.
I have equal USA and UK viewers on YouTube, but I suspect Patreon is more UK based
I would love to hear what timezones people are in and if this would make it impossible to join.
(maybe i should make it a couple of hours later, but I also don't want to be too tired when I go live)
Current plan is to have a casual story based video game up on screen as a back up, but I hope there would be at least equal parts gaming and chatting/interacting.
It would be cool if there was a safe and reliable way to do "Tasks" on the stream, like taskmaster, but i would worry that people would just start spamming stupid suggestions, so maybe make it a superthanks thing? but then i'd still be worried people will pay and set me some kind of stupid task i wouldn't do (ehem Common People on Black Mirror lol)

I don't know, maybe I could plan to stream at an ungodly hour. Its not undoable and I do want to do my best to make it a success. Its actually a thought worth considering

2025-08-16 02:19:28 +0000 UTCIs 23 Aug the real date? I will be up in the mountains that whole weekend ๐ข I don't think I'd be able to do 3:30am either though, I'm UTC-4. It sounds fun, if my vacation plans get cancelled, I'd selfishly want you it to start no earlier than about midnight your time (sorry ๐ ), which would be mid-morning NYC and mid-afternoon London. If you don't want to stay up late, you could wake up really early and do like 5:30am? I don't blame you at all for not wanting to do either of those times.
