It's great to see the UK version! I'm used to the US and Canada versions (which is a little different with the people involved being mainly celebrities (Nikki Bella was in the latest season of US, and Gail Kim was or is going to be in a season of Canada's). This show is very addicting haha.

2025-06-19 14:28:28 +0000 UTCI really don't know what I think of this show. as far as reality tv goes (a genre I despise with my entire being) it's watchable, but something about watching people act like assholes (especially talking about a certain someone in series 2) just leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I dropped it because of it.

The tactics get a bit more sophisticated as players become more familiar with the way things work, but you can watch the celeb version right after this with no issue. It seems weirdly low stakes at first knowing who the traitors are but you are spending 12 episodes with them and by about episode 6 you'll be so emotionally invested in the group that you'll be throwing chairs across the room after each murder/banishment. Also they are all being a bit 'reality tv' right now but soon the paranoia, anger and fear is going to knock that out of them. Also some series you are going to root for the traitors and some series you root for the faithful. The missions seen a bit pointless but they are mainly designed to mess with their heads by putting them against each other, making them competitive, tired, and then putting them around a table and letting them unleash that on each other. You saw there was no benefit to splitting them into teams for the mission... except then they started looking at who was 'weaker' or 'slowing them down' or who was being too bossy, too focused on money etc. Anyway, I love this show. I hope you warm to it. And all the songs are on the official playlists :)

Oh yeah, I remember seeing that - kinda sad it wasn't even all that surprising, I mean, considering what we see on the show, yikes!

Also the constant intense music is so funny. I won't spoil it, but one of the contestants got arrested for physically assaulting a waitress after this aired and apparently all of the other contestants hate them lol

Celeb traitors will be completely separate. Good luck with the views, it’s a huge show, hope it finds the audience it deserves. Hahaha love your honesty about not realising they haven’t been picked yet, but not as bad as your successville fail Yes we have birds of prey in the uk, our town is overrun by red kites. The joy in this show is knowing who the traitors are for a change and yet it’s fascinating to watch how the others think and crumble and how the traitors do well or badly at lying. The tasks/challenges don’t quite make sense or fit in narratively, but they’re a distraction from it being too big brother and do lead to some iconic moments that break up the intensity of the round tables. What sets the uk version apart is that the spectacle/ overproduced money shot moments are not what makes great tv, it’s the real unpredictable moments that are captured. Especially as Claudia fails to hide her enthusiasm/laughter. She quite rapidly becomes the viewer as well as the presenter! Soundtracks is amazing, electro/acoustiv/darkpop covers of classic songs Also yes you have to watch the morning bit after the murder each episode as it’s such a stupid cliffhanger
