I know I've been missing for a really long time and honestly I've just been super fricken depressed since the giant wave of harassment I received some time ago, it really demotivated me into the pavement, but I'm back and ready to be an adult.
I've attached a few more spoilers for you guys to chew on while I get the next update ready and finish some kickstarter comissions.
All your patience and generosity keeps me going, and I super duper appreciate every single positive email, message, and comment I get and have gotten. It really is the only reason I'm still powering through.

Hey ! Your comic is inspiring me to become an artist, just like you. I just bought a pre-order of your book, because what you did as of now is a big part of what makes me want to go further. I even quitted my job to try and become the artist I want to be and returned to school, because you... inspired me ! So, yeah ! 2016-03-31 17:13:38 +0000 UTCThe witch hunt culture is rampant and insane, it's absolutely 900% bullying and it hurts so much because I know so many people who'd kill to be such a successful artist like you, ESPECIALLY me- you're one of my main sources of inspiration, I even plan on transferring to SVA next year (my transcripts were too low rip me). But seriously, you're such a wonderful person who has so much to be proud of, it's incredibly unfair that those few people have to gang up and try to take that away from you. I really hope one day you see yourself and your comic as vividly as we see and look up to you. If you saw yourself and your art like we did, you'd never have a strand of insecurity to worry about, that's how greatly we love you. Please take care, be safe, and only know those bullys are leaches and have nothing else better enough to do than waste their life obsessing over how next they can take your words out of context. If you sit and think about it, their life must be sad as shit if they really believe they're doing something good for people- they're not, they're just jealous as hell and too insignificant to apply themselves to act like an actual human being. Love you, all my friends do too and we only want to see you get better, being an adult is hard as shit and you're doing wonderfully friend there is no right way to do it- your break from posting is completely acceptable, don't ever feel sorry for it. <3

I suffer from mental health issues, and your comic touches me in ways that not many forms of art can do. And I am more than willing to be patient for more and continue to support you. The two physical books, by the way, were amazing, I was so exciting to get them. <3

I'm so sorry to hear that you were harassed; it's not right. It would be nicer if people that left those comments would follow that rule of "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything." Critiquing should be fine, but all out harassment and negativity is down right wrong and I can only pray that they'll get a little taste of it back at them and realize their flaws. I'm happy though that you pulled through and shared that with us. No matter what, I'm not pulling out and I'll continue being one of your many patreons because I LOVE the work and story you have created.

I wanted to donate what I could 'cause I can see how much passion goes into these pages, regular updates aren't an issue for me. I just saw something so inspiring I had to do something. So try not to worry for me if you aren't feeling 100%. I know what it takes to create and taking care of yourself is SUPER important. You've actually inspired me to finally start on a web comic of my own. I've been meaning to for a long time and seeing your style? It lit a fire in me! They hide behind whatever is the most convenient platform is. Some people do it with religion, some people do it with "political correctness". In the end, they're not fighting for any higher ideals, they just want to bully.

2016-03-30 07:04:33 +0000 UTCUnfortunately, this past year has seen too many instances of this sort of thing; social justice warriors going after female creators with truly vicious harassment campaigns, such as what happened to Zamii and Plebcomics on Tumblr, too. The social justice scene can be vicious towards female creators, I think because they see females as being more vulnerable to this sort of emotional onslaught than guys are, which is, frankly, disgusting of them, *especially* given their supposed commitment to higher ideals than that. But you've weathered the storm. You've made it through, hopefully they'll have lost interest in you, and you're better now than you were then. Time to move on from this wave of bullshit nonsense and on to better things. :)
