The next day, things were deceptively calm and normal around Trost. With the dead buried and the dead bats thrown beyond the wall, it was almost easy to forget that the battle had happened. But the absence of those they lost was a gaping reminder, especially without Boris's serpentine form flying through the sky.

That said, the Resienwache was collectively focused on Eren. Namely, what he had been doing for most of the day since he woke up.

That was what Restia and Anilof had asked themselves nervously when the Iron Gods had shown them the strange thing.

Perhaps they misunderstood, Resttia proposed. Perhaps the meaning was "fly" as in flying like the wind, able to move very fast over the land? Anilof had almost believed that for a moment, but they had felt the metal thing rumble and growl like a beast, and they could feel the entire thing shifting!
