re:Cut / Re:dropped - A New Patreon Collection!

(I'm at a loss for what to call it and I'm running out of bad dad joke puns so I'll just leave this here and see if Spiral wants to dress this up, probably not-) Narrator voice: Spiral did dress it up a bit with cat ears and stuff

Hey all, it's Jeff (AKA the tired and less upbeat one of the two re:TYE Patreon managers) here to write and announce a new Tier 1 snippet/WIP/fun-fact type of post I'll be doing on a recurring basis called re:Cut (or name TBD, what's catchy?)! Spiral also works really hard drafting majority of our Patreon posts so this gives poor Spiral a much needed break from some of these posts lol! (Editor Spiral: I'm still here to proof read your posts. I'm more of a supporting otome game character in this series or a heckler BG character...)

Due to some recent changes to YT Studio's video viewership settings, it has made our previous reward for YT early access unlisted video access to be difficult to setup and queue for the main public Saturday upload. To compensate for that, we're currently exploring some ideas for new additions for our Patreon family and one that I'll personally be working on is a series of story time posts about cut content, dropped covers, or proposed projects that never made it to release.

If you've been a follower on our Patreon (particularly at Tier 2 or Tier 3 levels), you've seen many of Spiral's "Fun Facts!" blurbs (Editor Spiral: Remember they're "fun (maybe) facts" because they maybe fun or they may be facts). This is a similar type of project except the posts will be a bit longer in length (get your reading glasses and popcorn ready) as we take a dive into the depths of re:TYE's planning folders and documents (the OG google doc ofc). On average, re:TYE has a fairly high completion rate with projects that are started (although some do take quite a while) so this little Jeff story time will also occasionally cover a few TYER works as well.

Depending on the song and project discussed, I will also be sharing exerts and clips of whatever material was partially completed if possible. There are a few projects that were nearly completed while others were cancelled not long after being green lit, but I'll see what I can gather up (including assets from a personal external hard drive I've kept that's over 10 yrs old). There are also a few songs that I did not actively organize or work on, those might feature a bit of guest story time if I can drag- I mean convince them to share their stories-
