2024-02-28 01:05:04 +0000 UTCThe aesthetic of this movie is great and original thanks to Jean Giraud/Moebius and Jean-Claude Mézières, two famous french SCIFI comics authors and Jean Paul Gautier for the costumes. I think the PG feel mixed with more "mature/sex" jokes is just because it's a French movie lol, I know it might be weird because you're more used to US standards, but in France a bit of racy humor or boobs don't prevent movies to be PJ (I think it's pretty much the same in a lot of other European countries). And that director/scenarist : Luc Besson is petty infamous for being, well, let's say he's got his share of "me too" scandals... And the diva is not the one singing, she's a French actress who was actually married to Besson (when she was 16 and him 32 🤮)
