New TV Series Poll
Added 2023-08-20 05:15:22 +0000 UTCFull disclosure, this isnt a poll deciding what to watch after Brooklyn, its more to test the waters on what shows are popular within my current Patrons.
But when Brooklyn wraps up I may be looking at starting another long form Sitcom or TV Series in its place.
I have seen most of the classics like The Office, Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, Community, The League, Seinfeld, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, The Good Place, Sopranos etc. etc.
So I'm putting some pretty wild swings on this list lol.
Multi voting is enabled (i think the mobile app doesnt like the multiple votes, but web browsers work fine)
And please comment anything else you'd like to see in the future :D

6 seasons - 118 episodes. lots of Australia in it. JJ Abrams created it if you like his stuff. I'd say watch the PIlot Part I and II and post it if you want to keep going.

2023-09-17 23:34:54 +0000 UTCIs Lost a very long series? I feel like it went for a long time. But I appreciate the info, it is a show I've never seen before

2023-08-25 14:14:52 +0000 UTCThrowing Psych into the ring just because it’s super underrated and not covered by almost anyone! Also just reiterating my love for Better Call Saul, I just watched the whole show in the last few weeks and holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit Also, Avatar the Last Airbender would definitely be up your alley

2023-08-23 14:23:45 +0000 UTCModern Family never really clicked with me, but I only watched a couple of episodes. I think seeing an interview with the guy who plays the dad was disheartening lol, he is so quirky and fun on the show, but out of character he seemed SUPER boring lol HIMYM is amazing

2023-08-22 22:43:09 +0000 UTCModern Family is also hilarious or How I Met Your Mother for new comedy shows!

2023-08-21 09:54:38 +0000 UTCHmmm, The Expanse (best show ever IMHO) Very different from most of the others although probably related to Firefly (but better!!) and has Jared Harris, David Strathairn, Terry Chen, Burn Gorman and Elizabeth Mitchell as guest stars.

2023-08-21 03:03:43 +0000 UTCI will be reacting to Severence Season 2, I watched Season 1 with my Mrs and loved it, didnt realise it would be so good lol
Adam from FWCI
2023-08-21 00:53:48 +0000 UTCVery different from what has been in the poll / suggested lol but I'll throw it into the hat - Avatar: The Last Airbender. It was Nickelodeon animated show that has basically garnered an older audience then what you would expect for a "kids" show, it's quite a popular reaction series - I think if you watch it you'd understand why. 3 seasons, 20 eps in season 1, 20 in season 2 and 21 in season 3 and they're 20 mins long (some are multiple parts) I'd also suggest Severance, another Apple TV show that's a kinda psychological drama.

2023-08-20 15:26:52 +0000 UTCChernobyl is one of the best series I've ever watched! The way it approaches telling the story is both interesting and leaves you waiting for the other shoe to drop! Then there's the epic acting talent (Jared Harris, Stellan Skarsgard, Emily Watson) and how it humanizes the victims in a real way. I've watched the complete series four times now. I was 11 when Chernobyl exploded and I understood some of the implications that it could have for the rest of the world. I've always found the topic incredibly interesting, but until I saw this series, I didn't truly understand the human cost. The people who were injured, killed or displaced weren't "like us", so I didn't feel much empathy. But this show changed that in a profound way!

2023-08-20 10:35:42 +0000 UTCBoth Fleabag and Our Flag Means Death look like great options tbh lol

2023-08-20 09:17:31 +0000 UTCFleabag and OFMD are excellent suggestions, both with some good laughs and deeper moments

2023-08-20 06:29:10 +0000 UTCIf you haven't seen Our Flag Means Death yet, you might enjoy that. Just ten eps for the first season and a great Taika Waititi performance.

2023-08-20 05:53:21 +0000 UTCnot a long series (a very short one actually, perfect if you ever need to fill some time between deciding shows!), but ‘fleabag’ is an amazing british comedy! only two seasons, six episodes each, but it’s still been the most impacting show i’ve ever watched.
