MC loved the album Glitter: she was mostly talking about the end result of the movie and what was released. Great reaction and dont listen to rude comments: you like the music you like. When MC has said she was for ed (true) to do some styles of music before is more that she wasn’t allowed the freedom to truly grow and explore. She has said she is all of her music: ballad/ dance/ jazzy/ etc …. But during her first few years they wanted her to belt blet belt and do more ballad as at that time that is what was in vogue. She loves all her work (some songs more than others depending how they were produced)

She narrates it and sings in it and everything. She’s in the process of making her memoir into a documentary series though. Not sure when it’s coming.

Definitely people will appreciate the song more once they see the visual that comes with it.Too bad VMA's are quite biased when it comes to Mariah , it blows my mind to think that she never received award from VMA's . My personal favourite of her videos is - Fantasy - Love Takes Time ( the simplest among all but makes me feeling so nostalgic ) - Honey ( the ambiance and story ) - Heartbreaker ( the humor ) - Through The Rain ( again the story ) - Touch My Body ( fun, it just fun )

Honey and Heartbreaker are iconic, but the music videos for Fantasy, Always Be My Baby, and We Belong Together capture their eras perfectly. Fantasy was actually her first video she directed herself, marking a turning point where she began to have more creative freedom. Watching her videos from the early 90s to late 90s, you can see her growth as an artist and how her vision evolved over time. I’d love to see him explore them because they’re a huge part of why fans love her!

Tbh, you’re not going to be blown away by the other performances from this era…they have a special place in my heart but just being real w u. Also, you really really don’t need to get lost in her music video catalog. It’s the weakest area of hers as an artist. Just watch the honey and heartbreaker videos. I’m ready for the emancipation of Mimi!!!
