But largely I’d say what makes butterfly so special as an album is that it encapsulates Mariah’s transition from a growth-stunted young woman into a grown woman who can now explore her life freely. The reflective moments on the album are essentially journal entries for her, speaking to herself both as a child and in the moment. Such a special album, im glad you liked it!

It has Sweetheart, When You Believe (ft THEE Whitney Houston), and I Still Believe 😊
