Staying on top of things, I got the May schedule in before I've officially turned over the calendar. It has been a good month for me, as the landscape springs back to life, my mind also flourishes with a fertile spirit. While the public only sees the output of an artist, that tip of the iceberg is only possible with a mass of foundational input. This includes all manner of experience and study, not always within the realm of art. Recent input has been wholly fulfilling, as I earnestly study a variety of subjects with extensive hand written note taking. As much as I disliked school, the the regular practice of hand writing keeps the mind sharp. I'm dismayed to see the digital transformation of the modern classroom, among many other offenses. Anyway, I'm excited to see how my learnings manifest in my art.
First off, I pushed Devlog 51 from this Monday, to Friday. Much of the work lately is technical stuff that I can't show off, so I wanted to hold off a bit until i have plenty of new graphics. In place of the previously scheduled Devlog, I dropped an original artwork for my paid Patrons. I will publish it to the public next week.
I will try to squeeze in two entries of Heroes & Monsters, so that series doesn't stagnate. Finally, Pixelblog 50 comes at the end of the month. I plan on expanding my anatomy study from the last blog with animation sequences. Wish me luck!
As always, huge thanks to my Patrons!
