January Schedule 2024

Happy new year! Hope you all have enjoyed holiday celebrations and are refreshed to take on another year that promises to continue producing anxiety inducing novelties at an alarming rate. Thankfully, my craft keeps me grounded and gives me purpose no matter how wacky the world gets. As long as I have the means, I'll be creating, and that's all I can ask for. Thanks so much for the support!

Looking back at 2023, it wasn't particularly exciting. No new game releases or massive commissions, but I'm grateful to have maintained steady output. While I would like to see more original artworks in the mix, I'm proud to stay consistent with the Pixelblogs in both frequency and quality. Every year, I'm grateful to teach and inspire more and more people, as I expand the catalogue.

Looking forward, there's a lot to be excited about. I intend to maintain the tradition of bi-monthly Pixelblogs along with a smattering of other original content. Since last year, gamedev has been more at the forefront of my content, and I plan to continue posting frequent devlogs as I create Death Vapor. Things should develop quickly with this one, delivering a healthy deluge of art and insights for some time.

I'm also making some custodial changes with my content and I how I distribute assets. Just last month I opened a shop here on Patreon where I offer various digital downloads that anyone can purchase. I will gradually make more and more of my content available here. Furthermore, I will be removing old asset packs from the Pixel Producer's downloads as they become available in the shop. Pixel Producer members will still get exceptional value with access to all of the latest downloads within the past 12 months, but old stuff will eventually move to the store, except maybe a few legacy items will always remain. I will keep you updated month to month. Get all those downloads while you still can!     

As for this month, I'm going hard on the gamedev, until it's tutorial time again near the end of the month.
