The First of Mei
Added 2024-08-22 21:32:27 +0000 UTCI’ve owed this since the beginning of this year. I ran two concurrent polls at the time. The public poll was for which character, & we had a down to the wire race between Helen “Mrs. Incredible/ElastiGirl” Parr & Overwatch’s Mei, & Mei won, I think, by a single vote. The patron poll was what kind of expansion we’d see take place, & unintentional weight gain seemed to win by a wide margin. But in second place, we had ‘waddling’ so I tried my best to marry the two.
The problem I ran into was trying to make that detailed an outfit both expand & make sense, while also trying to navigate the widened anatomy. So I kept drawing & redrawing, on & off for months. I’m still not entirely sure if it turned out all that great ultimately, but I’m happy I finally have it done.
BUT, for penance in taking forever with this one, I wanna do a second Mei pic. One a bit gassier. Thus “The FIRST of” Mei…
Included with text, background, & Snowball variants. Her lil Omnic buddy sure is TRYING to help her out, but there’s unimpeded underbelly for you too.

Sometimes you have to see it at the end to firm up what you want to do the next time. But, of course, there's no next time without the first time. Your skills and tastes are always changing, and your built up experience will only push that further.

2024-08-24 00:44:46 +0000 UTCI'm glad it worked for some folks, & people seem to be liking it but it looked way off & I kept adjusting & readjusting & to me it still doesn't look quite right. It was so much detail to try & incorporate. Thanks though!
